Introduction

Rotary screen printing is a continuous printing process with a perforated cylinder, spherical screen is used which is fed with paste from inside by a spherical pump.

t = Screen support
S1 = S2 = S3 = Screens
K = Device for bringing gum to the blanket

L = Washing device for the blanket.

1. In this type of printing, the screen is wrapped in a metal cylinder.
2. The solution of the color is inserted from one of the cylinders. The roller rotates by mechanical method.
3. There is a blanket connected to the rotary screens.
4. There are gum devices and washing devices connected with the blanket.
5. There is a table for supporting screens and delivery roller.

Working Procedure

1. The dyestuff paste is supplied to the interior of the revolving screen and distributed in the entire screen body.
2. The feed fabric through the guide roller is gummed with the blanket.
3. The fabric is passed under the rotating screens.
4. The printing paste is pumped automatically.
5. The fabric is passed into the chamber and finished printing.

Precautions

  • Gum device placement should be stable and perfect.
  • Washing device placement should be accurate and stable.
  • For different colors, different screens should be used.
