Block Printing
Block printing is the oldest method of printing that still exists, but its use is limited to the decoration of scarves and handkerchiefs.
Block Size
Maximum- 36" ✕ 36"
Block Preparation
Generally, the block is made from poor wood which is cut so that the design is raised in relief. The block size is determined by the design features. Normally, a block is used only for a single color. Printing does not become uniform with large-size blocks.

Paper: Transparent paper portrays a design and is then chemically treated to make it waterproof.

Procedure
A direct style of printing is applied in this method in two ways- spraying or brushing. After placing the stencil on the fabric, color is added using a brush or spray. It is used to decorate knitted fabric.
Roller Printing
The quickest and least expensive method of printing is roller printing. The output of this m/c can not be surpassed by any other method of printing. Designs with up to 16 colors are present in roller printing.
